Through our WordUp initiative, The Molina Foundation empowers families to create word-rich and healthy homes. We reach thousands of children and families each year with simple activities and tips to reinforce health and literacy skills, helping to make sure children are ready for kindergarten and success in school.
We also host “workshops” for preschool, kindergarten and first graders at sites in our Network across the country.
Here are simple, and easy, activities to engage young children in word-rich and healthy experiences. Each thematic activity is fun while reinforcing kindergarten readiness skills important for every child. You’ll find stories, songs, snacks, exercises, games and hands-on activities.
